Now this one I am very proud of. I was taught how to make newspaper roses. Once I practised a bit I wondered if you could do the same thing with fabric, such as thick ribbon or felt. So I decided it was something I simply must try, this picture here is what I came up with. The glitter ones are ribbon and the pale pink one is felt. They were quite fiddly but well worth the effort. I enjoyed making them so much that I had to do a whole wreath with them and
this is the outcome.
The great thing about it, or at least I think anyway, is that it is sparkly enough for Christmas, but because of the colours I think it could stay up all year. You can make it as big or small as you like and any choice of colours. It could also make a nice table centre piece, with a chunky candle in the middle. This is definitely one that you can tailor to whatever you want it for.
